Any way to change my capital city map without starting over?

I'm Eggy. My capital city map is the one with three pseudo-islands, with the river forking down the middle, with two bridges.

I really don't like it, and have seen some ones I love, such as the simple one on the banks of the nile.

|||The Short answer to that is no. You are stuck with the map :(. I had to rebuild my civilization because I did not like how mine was either.

Irealized at a much later time thatthere are city maps i would like to usea lot more than the one i am now stuck with. Having an option to change it would be great.|||

Yes, I had to start over again at level 1.

If you have stuff you want to save i would suggest turning your buildings into blueprints, mail them to a friend, then have them mail them back once you found a map you liked.

I still really don't care for my new map, but its the best i could find. I would suggest you join the thread in the suggestion area requesting a "map editor" feature. Perhaps if we get enough people we can actually get the tools to change our lands.
