Should I just go ahead and start the game up and then purchase a Season Pass?
I really hate that I missed out on the credits opportunity and all the other end of beta events they had, but I was either busy or offline from the onlien world in the last few weeks. I just my broadband setup again into my new apartment TODAY, a little over an hour agoand one of the first things I wanted to make sure I did was install Age of Empires online.
So Batsy.. anyone, thoughts? I really hate I was not a more productive beta tester and like I did for Section8 after it launched, I am looking to support the game in the largest way possible but also reflect that I tried to do my part before it hit retail.
Anyways. Lets all enjoy Age of Empires Online!
|||The only thing some beta testers got (which probably had to do with the community aspect not so much the testing) was we got invited to Pre-Release, and were able to purchase eitherpremuim civilizations, or decorations all seperately. No special offers were available nor was the crete deal. If you bought both premuim civ packs seperately they give you some ingame items (Parthenons), and an advisor (Golden Hippikon). In the long run the Season Pass is the best investment.
Windy Widgets Store is a DLC item you get with the retail package and is not available with any other packages. You can redeem it on your season pass or premuim if you have interest. The items are only usable by accounts that have the store, however this store is does not have much value in late game.
|||For now, you'd probably just be best with the Special Launch Offer. You get both civs and Defense of Crete for $40.
And I want my golden Hippikons gd it. :P
