First the lv7 commentator is matched against a lv40 player in sparta PVP. Then he gets demolished when his opponent isn't even good. He also commented on how pay-to-win plays a large role in this game just like all other reviews. This is only his first impression about the game, and chances are other new players may experience the same problem. MS really needs to step up and fix the game before its ruined.

|||What do you expect? He had idle villagers when he has 20 population, and floating on freaking 800 gold before 40 supply. Am I surprised that he lost?

I think you're missing the point. It's his FIRST game and he gets to play with lv40 players in epics.Most noobs won't be happy with that.

|||I am not missing the point. I agree MS's matching needs some tweaks, without questions, but instead of starting to bash them here now, we should comment on his game play on the video so others can what actually made him lose.
|||personally ill be leaving because its so hard to get a pvp match :( i hit 40 and im tired of questing. when i want a match it usually takes 15-20 min. even aoc i get games wayyyy faster than that.

And they will step anyway this game was just released early. Pricing is great, just get one premium civ and that's it.|||Highly doubt if this fails that it would be the end of either AoE or MMORTS games. Look at Square Enix. FFXIV was a dismal failure yet they are still pushing along other FF Games to continue the series|||Maybe, but FFXIII is making me think twice before buying its sequel. (I never bought any of Square's MMO.)
|||Just give it a week of two. So people can get level 40. When that happens you'll find a game within 2 seconds any time on the day. We had it like that in the beta. With just 1k people :)
