Best Game Ever. (Sarcasm(SO MUCH of it))

This is the worst game ever by far. if I could i would manifest this game into a human being and bend it over aguillotine, and I havn't even logged into the game yet. That being said, heres what happened :)

First, 5 hours ago I saw MMOhut did a review of it! looked fun. Then kinda of got more and more depressing the more i watched the review. But I was like, "Hogwash!" and went to go download it anyway.

After it's quick download, i proceeded to log in, it requested a windows live account, I have 30 of those, but I made a new one just to make sure it would work. After logging in, it said i needed a product key, after the odd expression left my face as i confirmed that, Yes, this game really is free. I Turned to the one person I could trust. google.

After google'ing for some time, I learned, you need to purchase the game in order to play it, as the odd expression reappeared on my face, I left and read some more. some said to reset my internet while logging in and to type aaaaaaaaaaaaaa as the product key, none prevailed, But then! something new happened! my live account got locked for trying 3 times and failing, horray! so i made a new one, did more google research, looked on forums, read a few posts and thought they may be asking for my user id number on windows live, they were not. Went to make a forum post asking, no "Post new thread" button existed. So i proceeded to restart spam the game, and after 5 restarts a new button appeared saying Purchase game, clicking this button it opened up the windows live marketplace, and I quickly found age of empires online, and purchased it for 0 dollars! horray i can finally play the game! nope. this only allowed me to post on the forums, the game still is asking for a product key, I thought, maybe its back at the live marketplace under the game info? nope.

So after 3 hours of attempting to login to a game thatsupposedlysucks terribly bad, I am still unable to even get past the login screen.

So I thank you AoE, I now snuggle with my ps3 a little bit closer at night while knowing I never had to use live to play games :)

Edit 1: I also forgot to mention the 20 minutes of trying to figure out how to contact live's support. (they dont have one for pc games)

So you trust PSN over LIVE? lol what a joke have fun hugging you PS3, Dont forget they got hacked for months. Good security they have lol. And you dont need a product key dam. And there is support. Grow up.

|||I think your the one who needs to use spell checker. It's Now! not Know, And what i don't understand is that you are complaining about a game you haven't even played. Wow you have seen a review that's not the same to playing. I mean come on dude you can't even install it. It doesn't need a CD Key lol. And there is support are you crazy why the hell wouldn't there be lol.

Lol... Dude I didnt face any problems while running the game first time. What i did:

1. Created WL account (I didnt have one before);

2. Purchased the game for $0;

3. Downloaded the game installer using WL client;

4. Installed the game;

5. Started playing...

Dunno but you might have done something wrong... The game havent asked me a single time for any key.

|||I downloaded the correct verision, and installed it perfectly, it just keeps asking for my product key no mater what I do.|||You don't register for the game. Just load the launcher and log in with any XBL account, like the one you are posting with. Done.
|||Download windows live market place. Sign in with your msn ID. Search in games for age of empires online. Download it. Download the files in patcher. Play. Or just click on download at www.ageofempiresonline.com|||http://forums.ageofempiresonline.com/forums/thread/76765.aspx|||All you have to do is click, Play for free and it downloads the game also downloads the MarketPlace and Framework or w.e ect its like a bundle download.
