DID YOU GET A BAN NOTIFICATION? READ HERE!!!

Very good chance you're not banned. The server is down for scheduled maintenance and the WRONG message is showing up.

If you are still getting the message after the servers come back online in 2-3 hours, good chance you broke the rules in the TOS (Terms Of Service) and are banned. :)

Please wait until the scheduled maintenance is over before questioning a ban.

if you were really banned or violated ToS then microsoft sends you a email... just log on to xbox.com or zune and see if you can use that services...

Oh internet, I mean, I try not to be rude but gosh. It really is like people just shut their common sense and rationality off when the do anything online. We have known about this server maintenance for what? 3 days now? and still... still people freak out about one thing or another. You can't possibly say that you haven't had enough time to figure out the local time on your area the maintenance will occur. in order to please everyone they would have to write down the time for each and every time zone.

Do they really have to do this for you too, apparently most people don't care to read announcements anyways so there is no point. If they did the next complaint would be in the lines of "I want a costumer support rep call me to notify me about anything happening"

Sorry about this rant but gosh! had to vent that out, stop being stupid guys. Have a cup of coffee and relax, I know that I'm going to :D

Some are banned for violating the TOS but the majority are not banned. I just wish people would read this message before posting and flooding out messages.

The thing is, last time the exact same thing happened. I wouldn't mind a different notification message when they kick out the remaining players on the servers. Showing the same message for every weekly maintenance is just asking for a lot of "I'm banned?!?" threads every week over and over again.

Change the notification message asap! I only visit forums rarely so beign banned was a shock to me. I already sent a message to community email address enquiring about my ban. No wonder people are freaking out about this. Thanks for heads-up and fix this stupidity!
