Hello everybody,

Been playing AoE since the first i think, was still a little boy, i remember those pisa towers xd.. been playing AoE online for like a week or less and i reached a point where it gets too %#$$%#@ hard, i had to check in these quests if they were on Elite.

The last quests i did were hard but i managed to win when i sent Triremes to disrupt the sea men gold/food supply(villager near shore, and fish boats).

I am level 34, cant even keep up against the Cyprus quests(12 kingdoms i think) and the repeatables of Argos (bandits, we killed these guys already, and etc) Also that quest which is co-op only.. Live together Die together, not sure, but I attempted 10 times alrdy and after i defeat first wave, i want to recruit a new army of lets say 10 hypasts(sp) after 3rd one spawns, they send an army of 15 with archers lol..

my friend (real life friend) is still lvl 10 and egyptian race.

Idk where do i go wrong, if anyone can help me.. i always start my game with 25 villagers, by 2nd age, 35 by 3rd and around 45~50 at 4th age.. I try my best to counter the other's army and im too scared to co-op with anyone (i dont like ppl calling me noob if we arent playing pvp xD)

Is it my equipment or the way i play or should i be visiting these quests at a higher lvl? is it the tech tree -.-? cuz im finding so much difficulty..

So if there is any advice, i would kindly appreciate.

oh and 1 more thing.. what the %$#@ do i do when the AI sends 10 catapults and 20 rams and lots of hipikons/archers?

|||Your villager count seems fine, unless you age really late, or really early that you have no troops. One question, how many unit production buildings are you having.

Against that mix of units, I would build camels/ellies. The former counters the hippos and closes ranks with the archers/catapults quickly, and the latter is a great meatshield and counters siege.|||Oh, I assumed you were Egyptian. As Greeks, spamming prodromos and/or hippos should work in that situation. (Basically the same unit mix as Eggys).|||

i get spawned with 1 barracks, by age two i make 1 more barack 2 archer range and 1 stable.. and later on siege as i move to age 4
