Question about sending items to myself before starting a new city

I want to delete my city and start over so i can play with a friend so i want to send as many items/coins as i can before i delete my old city and start a new one. I want to make sure first that if i delete my city and i have messages in my mail will they be deleted too? do i have to make an egyptian city to take all the items from the mailbox then delete the old greek one then make a new greek city and send all the items again? or can i just leave them in the mailbox, delete the city and make a new one?

It is doable!

But you have to trust fully your friend: send him all the items, coins and materials you want (he has to be on the same server).

Then delete your city, and recreate a new one. Last step, ask him to send you back the items -it's where the "trusty thingy" comes to play hehe-
